Terms & Conditions
DMC Exterior Cleaning & Lawn Care
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by DMC Exterior Cleaning & Lawn Care (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accepting a quote, making a booking, or allowing work to commence, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Quotes & Bookings

All quotes are provided based on the information available at the time and may be subject to change if site conditions differ from those described or visible.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

A booking is only confirmed once a 10% non-refundable deposit has been received.

We reserve the right to decline or withdraw a booking at our discretion.
2. Deposits
-
A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking.
-
Deposits are deducted from the final invoice total.
-
Deposits are non-refundable in line with our cancellation policy below.
3. Cancellations
-
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled booking date will result in loss of the deposit only.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date, up to and including the day of the booking, will be charged 50% of the total booking value, with a minimum charge of £20.

Any cancellation charges will be deducted from payments already made or invoiced accordingly.
4. Rescheduling
-
Rescheduling is free if requested more than 48 hours before the scheduled booking.

Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the booking date will incur a £20 rescheduling fee, added to the final invoice.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.
5. Payments
-
Payment is due after completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

A grace period of 7 days is allowed from the invoice date.

Payments not received within the grace period will incur a 10% late payment charge for each 7-day period the balance remains unpaid.

We reserve the right to suspend future services until outstanding balances are settled.
6. Methods of Payment

Payment methods accepted will be outlined on the invoice.

Receipts are available upon request.
7. Weather Conditions
-
Exterior cleaning and garden services are weather-dependent.
-
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to unsafe or unsuitable weather conditions (e.g. heavy rain, frost, high winds).

Weather-related rescheduling will not incur a rescheduling fee.
8. Access & Site Conditions
-
The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, including access to water and electricity where required (unless otherwise agreed).
-
We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions, or undisclosed hazards.
9. Chemicals & Treatments
-
We may use professional cleaning chemicals (including sodium hypochlorite) where appropriate.
-
All reasonable care is taken to protect surrounding surfaces, plants, and property.
-
The customer accepts that some surfaces may show pre-existing damage or staining once cleaned.
-
We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing defects, poor installation, or unsuitable materials.
10. Waste Removal
-
Waste removal is included only where stated in the quote.
-
Additional waste removal may be charged separately if not included in the original quote.
11. Photography & Filming
-
By accepting a booking, the customer agrees that photographs and/or video footage of the work may be taken for marketing and social media purposes.
-
If the customer does not wish to be filmed or photographed, this must be stated in writing prior to the booking date.
12. Complaints
-
Any complaints must be raised within 48 hours of work completion.
-
We will aim to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
-
We must be given the opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, rectify the issue before any third-party work is undertaken.
13. Liability
-
We carry appropriate Public Liability Insurance.
-
Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.
-
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
14. Right to Refuse Service
-
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if staff safety is compromised, abusive behaviour occurs, or terms are breached.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
